FUEL DIRECT / THIRD PARTY DEDUCTIONS
You can pay off some of your debts using certain benefits. The DWP will assign a portion of your benefits each week to cater for your debts and ongoing costs.
You can join the scheme through EDF if you:
have an EDF energy account
are in debt of £71 and more
is unable to pay by direct debit or have a prepayment meter installed
You should also be on or more of these benefits:

- Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance

- Pension Credit
